Me and my son took the wrong route to reach Uetlib

Me and my son took the wrong route to reach Uetliberg from Zurich on our hike in Switzerland. The path was tough and there were many a wrong turns we took. We encountered a hailstorm too but it was awesome watching it from under our umbrellas. Midway we panicked and thought we had lost the way. The path was slippery and narrow, with deep gorges on the side. A rainy day is not the best day to be trekking. Om top of this the phone lost the signal and it was only by instinct we plodded on. At one point we thought of returning but going back seemed tougher than going up. So we prevailed. At the end of 2 gruelling hours we reached the top. The journey taught me a lesson. That in life, when we venture into a new, uncharted territory it is always a tough going. We take misteps too but if you have conviction and a diehard attitude of not giving up, you reach your destination. Sooner than later. This is similar to the cowriting journey I share with my son who was with me on this trek. It is not easy. But we plod on and keep reaching one small milestone after another. Yes the final destination is far off but where there is a will there is always a way. #questofthesparrows #daredreamers #destiny #milestone

रातों को जाग कर आपने हमे दी अपनी बाहों की जो पनाह,
हमारे दर्द और बुखार से आप जंग लड़ी इस तरह। दुनियां के इलाज में एक डॉक्टर की तरह आप व्यस्त हो कर भी,
हमे स्कूटर पर स्कूल बस होने के बावजूद लेनी आती,
रास्ते में ढेर सारी प्यार भरी बातें बताती,
उन लम्हों की यादें आज भी हमे हैं याद आती। पढ़ाया आपने हमे दुपहर में ऐसा,
की स्कूल वालों ने मुझे चौथी कक्षा से सीधे छठी कक्षा के लायक समझा। अपने लिए बिना गहने पहने,
4 सूती साड़ी में गुजारी आपने अपनी ज़िंदगी,
दुनियां और परिवार के लिए कुर्बान कर दी अपनी पूरी जिंदगी। जब तक थी आप तो मूल्य न समझे हम मां का,
आज जो चली गई आप तो समझे हमारे जीवन में योगदान आपका। जहां भी हो आप मां हमारी, खुश रहना,
भूल जो हमसे कोई अनजाने में हुई तो हमे माफ करना।
हमे पता है हम से दूर आप ईश्वर की शरण में हो,
वहां रह कर भी आप हमे ममता भरी नजरों से देखती हो। There is no other like a mother,
I shall miss you forever,
I hope I live by the values you taught me,
And spread the sunshine and light that you forever,
